    Default 6 hands vs Gabe

    Played a short and friendly 4-tabling HU session against Gabe so that we could get some fun hands to post. Gabe was playing 66/60 sicko with 39% 3bet and only 26% fold vs 3bet. I took a slightly defensive approach and played 60/52 with 16% 3bet and 57% fold vs 3bet.

    Hand 1: 4-bet pot, I flop the nuts, Gabe leads three streets on ugly board. I felt like he is going to shove any flush for value but not AQ/AJ. No idea about his bluffing frequency but I didn't think he would just blindly lead all three with complete air here. Any reason why I should raise at any point? Easy river fold?
    ================================================== ===

    Gabe ($139)
    Hero ($78.25)

    Dealt to Hero A K
    Hero raises to $1.25, Gabe raises to $4, Hero raises to $11, Gabe calls $7

    FLOP ($22) A A 5
    Gabe bets $12, Hero calls $12

    TURN ($46) A A 5 6
    Gabe bets $16, Hero calls $16

    RIVER ($78) A A 5 6 2
    Gabe bets $78, Hero hates life with $39.25 behind...

    Hand 2: Gabe leads three streets. Didn't see any compelling reason to raise flop or turn. River looks like a raise but stacks are awkward. Those in favor of raise please indicate willingness to call a shove. Or maybe we just overbet jam here?
    ================================================== ===

    Gabe ($84.80)
    Hero ($110)
    Dealt to Hero A 4
    Hero raises to $1.25, Gabe calls $0.75

    FLOP ($2.50) 5 J 9
    Gabe bets $1.60, Hero calls $1.60

    TURN ($5.70) 5 J 9 4
    Gabe bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

    RIVER ($14.70) 5 J 9 4 A
    Gabe bets $10, Hero?

    Hand 3: FPS river check with $27.5 behind? I felt like a shove would get
    a decent amount of credit here and if I check it does look a lot like I'm checkfolding, meh.
    ================================================== ===

    Hero ($50.50)
    Gabe ($50)

    Dealt to Hero T T
    Gabe raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $5, Gabe calls $3.50

    FLOP ($10) T 9 6

    TURN ($24) T 9 6 4
    Hero bets $11, Gabe calls $11

    RIVER ($46) T 9 6 4 J
    Hero checks...

    Hand 4: Line check. Feels a little dirty to b/f but I still have to bet it right?
    ================================================== ===

    Gabe ($108)
    Hero ($113)

    Dealt to Hero 9 T
    Hero raises to $1.25, Gabe raises to $4.50, Hero calls $3.25

    Gabe checks, Hero checks

    RIVER ($9) 5 5 3 Q 9
    Gabe checks, Hero bets $6, Gabe raises to $19, Hero folds.

    Hand 5: Weird river raise, call or jam for value?
    ================================================== ===

    cool hands. Hand 1 I've just shove turn usually but against gabe i'd call call any non-spade river so now fold

    hand 2 - raise or shove.

    hand 3 - I guess i'd shove? Strange spot b/calling seems dirty as does just c/calling since i don't see many random bluffs that bet.

    hand 4 - b/fold seems good here.

    hand 5 - weird hand, i'd just nit/call.

    hand 1
    -I don't mind raising flop. I don't think this is a board where ppl are going to go crazy bluffing, cause your calling range has a lot of strong hands that won't fold to barrels

    Hand 2
    -I would raise river, he has lots of Ax and worse two pairs

    Hand 3
    -I don't know about a river check here. Most of his range is some pair, and will check back. What is the value in checking? He might not b/c a c/r with Jx, so might as well bet

    Hand 4
    -your line doesn't seem to bluffy, not sure he expects you to fold here, I'd fold

    Hand 5
    -I'd expect two pair+ to bet turn often, so I'd 3bet this river. Being on the button he has a lot of worse 4x hands

    Hand 6
    -good, hard to misplay it. Think any line you take here can't be too bad. Jamming turn sometimes or waiting to river.

    Oh-yeah you were playing batshit hyperaggro. I have to say that this was the most adrenaline-laden HU session ever.

    I think I've never played 4 tables HU before and I never play HU anyway. I missed some very easy value bets/raises on a few occasions because I just didn't have time to put us both on ranges.

    Damn I came so close to calling you in hand 1 with AK! I folded because I didn't want to see the three of spades and shipping all the momentum to you. I wasn't even considering a call in hand 4 so I really like your bluff vs me there. The fact that you turned A high into a bluff is a very nice play. Nobody usually gives me enough credit to do something like that.
