6 player Single Table tournaments??? (homegame)

So I usually hold single table tournaments where the winner takes all or split prize money of 70/30% between first and second places on weekends (depending on my mood). Its usually $20 buy in, but this time, its been lowered to $10.
Its normally me, and five more of my buddies playing NL Texas Holdem. We're all amateurs (to say the least), although one guy has won the last 2 tournaments and came second on the 3rd. (I've only held three tournaments
  ).
My question is how do you vary your strategy from a full table of 10 to a single table of 6?
 A little background info:
 - 1 of them is VERY tight and ONLY plays premium hands.
 - the other 3 players plays rather unpredictably, as in they will throw away garbage preflop, but they will act as calling stations or all-in maniacs even when they hit top pair (e.g. even in situations such as KQJ33 and they've hit a K)
 - the other is pretty solid and bluffs very well. (he won two and came second in the third).
 - one thing that they do that seriously drives me crazy is that when someone folds, and we are left with either 2 or 3 players in the game, the guy that is out would keep urging/persuading the remaining players to call or go all in.
