Default 6 player Single Table tournaments??? (homegame)

So I usually hold single table tournaments where the winner takes all or split prize money of 70/30% between first and second places on weekends (depending on my mood). Its usually $20 buy in, but this time, its been lowered to $10.

Its normally me, and five more of my buddies playing NL Texas Holdem. We're all amateurs (to say the least), although one guy has won the last 2 tournaments and came second on the 3rd. (I've only held three tournaments ).

My question is how do you vary your strategy from a full table of 10 to a single table of 6?
    A little background info:
    - 1 of them is VERY tight and ONLY plays premium hands.
    - the other 3 players plays rather unpredictably, as in they will throw away garbage preflop, but they will act as calling stations or all-in maniacs even when they hit top pair (e.g. even in situations such as KQJ33 and they've hit a K)
    - the other is pretty solid and bluffs very well. (he won two and came second in the third).
    - one thing that they do that seriously drives me crazy is that when someone folds, and we are left with either 2 or 3 players in the game, the guy that is out would keep urging/persuading the remaining players to call or go all in.

for me it really depends on the blind structures here to determine my style. If the blinds are pretty big compared to stack sizes or they go up pretty quickly then im going to have to keep it tight so any hand i might play id raise with and rep the flop. Too often imo this type fo tournament is about races between pps and overs.
On the otehr hand if their is some room to play poker id go loose, playing more cards for raises in more positions and waiting for the maniacs to push the wrong flop/turn when i could hold anything. Im tempted to say id play this way anyway against two unpredictable players but thats me

okay, since its my tournament, I make up the rules

the blind basically goes up every 10 rounds. everyone gets 800 worth of chips.

    starting from:

    5/10
    10/20
    15/30
    25/50
    50/100
100/200 (I think I'll make this the max amount of blind ... or maybe 150/300, I dunno)

come to think about it, the last 2 tournaments were 10 people tournaments and about 2/3 of the people played VERY tight.
