    Default 9-8s 200NL

The BIGFISH at my table is playing 60/40, very aggressive and spewy. LurkerDrop is a 23/18 TAG, also very aggressive. The only hand i've seen Lurker take to showdown was where he 3bet the fish with AK and ended up getting coldcalled IP by another TAG regular (the fish folded preflop). Lurker checked his TPTK on a dry board two streets and fired a value bet on the river.

Here's a spot on the turn where im not sure how to proceed. I really wasn't expecting to face a bet on the turn once the second King came out. Normally i would raise the flop, but didn't want the fish to fold or push me out of the pot with a large reraise with more of my stack invested. If we were 100BB deep i'd figure his range would contain enough draws and his bluffing frequency would be high enough i could profitably felt my middle pair, but with the deeper stacks im hesitant to commit myself to the pot. also calling the turn seems terrible, since there are so many bad river cards.

TAGs range is AK/AQ/AJ/KQ/PPs. Calling the flop is OK, folding turn is std.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

fold the flop. a lot of tags dont cbet in spots like this without a hand or atleast not very often especially after you saw him check down tptk before.

yeah ur crushed here, i dont mind a flop call but turn is definite fold.

You did this to yourself before the cards were even delt.

Fold flop. The UTG raiser is c-betting 3-way with a fish on a fairly bad board to c-bet, especially with a fish in the hand. Plus you have the "very aggressive/spewy" fish yet to act.

Why are you calling weak hands pre-flop with a 40% PFR player remaining to act? Why did you repeat pretty much the same mistake on the flop?

lol why is everyone hating on this hand, i play it the same, just because tp pairs on turn doesnt mean the flop peel is bad we can be repping FD/str8/hit 2/trips/have him shut down for the definitely dont fold in pos

or to be more accurate i think u guys r too concerned with the fact we have mid pair..... thats a great flop for us against a moderately loose opener when we have position, id expect to win this pot well over 60% of the time on the turn and river... our pair of 8s is just the pot equity which is gonna allow us to float 1-2 bets, not something we feel compelled to showdown on the river... we should be turning our hand into a bluff moderately frequently on this board

Preflop and flop are fine. On the turn I think you should be bluffing this a good amount of the time.

My biggest issue is that with the table action acting after us on most hands, it's going to be very difficult to figure out the texture of hands and get maximum value out of them.

If you were playing high enough that there aren't hundreds of tables to pick from, I'd understand. At 1/2 I would just find another table. Fail that, I'm playing it tight and letting someone give me too much action.

Waht. We're in position how do we play this any differently. OOP it's harder to play pre and on the flop.
