so bar any great read (if i know him well or had been sitting for a long time) this is an instamuck?

You say this is your first hand, so they can have no read on you. So, for someone to smooth call pf, smooth call the flop, and then min-raise the turn with no read on you, you have to assume that they have something of value.

I think you are behind more times then you are ahead here.

Smooth call flop and min-checkraise turn is a very common way for most ppl to slowplay OOP. Call his turn minraise, reevaluate on the river

he has pocket 7's or something like that.
