Ace-Broadway help, no fatties.

Hand 1: Villain is a total nitwit, overaggressive, a donk some might say. One of my problems, and it has come from my LHE game, is to let the villain keep betting as much as he wants as long as he has zero folding equity. So, he is setting the price on how much he wants to lose, when it is obvious he is way behind (at least to us).

I knew villain was FOS on the flop, but why let the poor guy fold? Options are to call the bet or raise him here, most likely all in.


Hand 2: Villain is aggressive enough preflop to raise with any ace, let alone AJ+, which is why I don't believe he has an ace. Also, if he would have raised me on turn, I can let it go.

In hand 1 I dont see why we should do anything other than call with your read. I think this is probably a WA/WB situation, and just call so he'll keep betting when WB.
In hand 2 I check the the turn.

hand 2: i also check behind on the flop. 2 smooth calls usually means he has something. Boat here maybe.

Hand 1 is fine. Pushing the turn isn't bad either though. You don't have to get cute with just one pair since you obviously want to play for stacks against this player.

Hand 2 : Mabe exercise some pot control with this relatively weak ace? I like the c-bet but then I think you should check/c the turn. River is an interesting card, I'm torn between check/calling and letting him try to rep the ace (and you'll lose less against a set/flush) or value betting hoping he'll call you with second pair. But since he's a donk he'll probably bet his second pair (and definitely a worse non-boat ace) in which you're getting the most value either way from c/calling river no matter what he holds because he can't put you on trips after your check.

If I were to put villain on a hand it's be 79 of diamonds or something ridiculous like that and not a boat. But he definitely could have 444. As played you have to make a crying call on river I think.

Hand 1:
If I didn't think he had an ace, I would call the minraise and give him the rope to hang himself on the turn and river. He may have a weaker king like king-jack and I would be more suspicious of paint on the turn and river.
Hand two:
I'm check-calling the turn or possibly betting 1/2 pot to keep the pot small. You have kicker problems here and this is often a situation I have been in with AT against hands like AJ or AQ and my players are too passive to raise. River is bittersweet because you're not folding trips.
