I would lead for a few reasons, particularly against tricky opposition. One, it looks like we're bluffing when we lead the ace turn. He knows that we have AK/AQ or a very weak hand, and it might induce a bluff raise. Is JJ/QQ/KK ever leading this turn? I doubt it. We recently were caught making a bit of a steal move from him, so he might be suspicious. I also like leading from a value perspective. A check-raise all in is actually a fine play, and in fact I take back my original post and think a c/r ai is the better play, but I think leading is good too for the reasons above.

i think both plays are equally transparent, but the c/r seems to extract more ev

I think most players at 400NL won't have the balls to look you up with JT here if you lead/push the turn, especially if there's been no real history. I know what you're trying to say, but I think you're assuming too much.

Folding here is absolutely terrible. When you 3-bet pf with AK you should be felting TPTK the vast majority of the time. The fact that you have the nut flush draw makes folding out of the question.

i c/r ai and was called by 77. i guess i am second guessing myself because against this guy it seemed so obvious.
