Default Am I the donk here? heads up match between me and Hartlin

It's a rhetorical question considering this is a heads up between 2 friends so we could be playing any 2, I just wanted feedback on this last hand which gave me the victory over Hartlis!

you mean once I reraised him on the flop? Id say so also

Well, idk, I'd say the flop call is marginal at best, but I your turn call is too. He should have realized he was behind on river though, you played it like a Q.

    boats never fold

Nah, I only called the river because I really didn't care, obviously he has a Q.... I'm gettin like 5:1... oh well, 2 outer'd woot, not sure why I didn't push the turn anyway lol

Hu everything is different. Hartlin, you should have folded the turn since it counterfeited your trips into the smaller boat. It was crystal clear he was holding a Q, right? I can se pushing top pair on the flop aswell as trips on the turn though...

Edit: The river of course, sorry Hartlin. I know it's easy to say but hard to do: Folding a boat.

    must be a mistype

the flop call is kinda blah - i make that occasionally if i really feel like i can improve and win a large pot - in this case, if hartlin was sure shysti had a Q, then its OK to call and try and make two pair/trips... but get your money in when you do =)

Why are you 4x'ing PF with Q7o?

I also raise more on the flop.

If one thing is right than that: The aggressor usually has an edge over the passive player in heads up. I would raise any hand with potential for top pair (kicker is not that important heads up, good draw (especially, since a lot of times you will only get paid of if you hit a strong, duisguised hand), etc. As the chipleader I might even raise 84off, because it's very deceptive. Imagine you raise with it and the flop comes 824. Villain must think you are floating and calls or reraises your bet. Perfect trap.
