    Simple enough.

There is no "magic strategy" to beat this game.

    Quit looking for it.

    I know.

But there is an optimum strategy to play small pocket pairs UTG when shortstacking, though.

if you're not prepared to push if reraised, then you shouldnt be raising UTG.

I started thinking this way when I realized there wasn't a "magic strategy" to beat this game.

That's when I started playing poker.

I started thinking this way when I started sparingly talking to lukie on AIM about poker and realized how flawed my perception of the game was.

That's when I started playing poker. if I just started listening to Lukie, much like if HE would just start listening to gabe, I'd finally be on my way to riches.

Ohh yeah, I forgot that part.

I owe it all to Lukie.
