    Default Anyone make this call?

Does anyone make this call vs. a 30/20/3.0 guy that you only have 50 hands on but you feel would bluff the flush card? In limited hands, he has won 60% W$WSF and this just feels bluffy.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($76.30)
    UTG ($147.95)
    Hero ($85)
    Button ($70)
    SB ($142.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q, A.
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, BB calls $3.

    Flop: ($8.50) J, 8, 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6, BB calls $6.

    Turn: ($20.50) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $14, BB calls $14.

    River: ($48.50) 8 (2 players)
    BB bets $30, Hero??
Hero says: I wish I had a bluff catcher here?

    Final Pot: $48.50

I think raising would be better than calling here. But I fold this pretty quick.

you are way overthinking this imo. please explain how this is at all bluffy. its like level 1 flush line -- c/c until flush hits, then bet

why would villain c/c flop/turn only to bluff when the flush came? Either way you are beat in this spot 99.9% of the time and you need to fold. And take the free card imo on the turn.

Same as in your other thread -- If u suspect he's drawing and you don't have a hand either, no point in firing the turn. you can still take the pot away on the river if you think the draw missed and u still don't have a hand.

Betting the turn seems pretty marginal, I check through the majority of the time unless I have some sort of read. Calling river is throwing money away.

    What they said ^^^^^^^^

You have a good draw and an overcard that may be good. You can't afford to not see the river.

I thought the K was a good card to 2 barrel here vs a maniac. It also gave me a GSSD.
If he hasn't raised and I give up on the turn I know I'm seeing a lead on the river.
I wanted to call b/c the river completed the FD & paired board which is the perfect card for these bad LAGs to rep on the river. I don't know I guess some of my reasoning for wanting to call was just getting a feeling from his earlier play.
FWIW, asshole flashes me Q9 after I fold.
God I am playing fishy right now. I must be tilting, wanting to make that call and letting it upset me.

What the others said. You don't need to barrel when you have a good draw and position. If you are OOP in this same situation then a barrel is much better. And don't be results oriented, it was a good fold. Villain's play was horrible, he was just lucky that you were bluffing also. Now he probably thinks he is Phil Ivey.
