Pattern Mapper sez he's either on the flush draw or you're in for a world of hurt.

    Could you elaborate?

If he checks behind, bet/fold most rivers? Fold if he bets the turn big?

Do you DARE question the great Pattern Mapper?!?!?!?!

Alright. He flat called your c-bet with 2 players remaining to act. A lukewarm hand will often raise there to isolate your c-bet (which into 3 players doesn't figure to be too light, but is still a wide enough range Ax would figure to be in pretty good shape) and force the players behind him to commit or fold. With a draw or very strong hand, he will just call your light bet and hope someone else gets dragged into the pot. Furthermore, the multi-way nature of this pot will force him to play his hand a little more straight up than he might heads-up.

Another plausable scenario is that he's floating Tx to see what's up and if you really have an Ace or just because he's stubborn post-flop. If that's what's up, he just got there.

All that being said, more information on him than just PT pre-flop numbers would help further clairify things.

I check and see what he does. Maybe I call, maybe I fold, I might even push. I'm crazy like that. CRAZY I TELL YOU.

Check and play some poker. Your top pair is not a hand worth getting too attached to so don't feel bad chucking it. It's not like you just flopped bottom set in a reraised pot on a TJQs board. That would suck. This... eh, no big deal.

Honestly, I don't see him raising a lukewarm hand here with people behind him yet to act. A lot of people get scared and will just call with something iffy. I really can't see him calling with a ten on this board and with people behind him either unless he's an idiot.

So check and call something small and hope he gives you a cheap showdown. If he bets anything substantial go ahead and fold because he's going to make it a real bitch to play the river.

If he has a hand like KTo, QTo, JTo, they are all calling these flop bets here if they have they have a big heart. You've got to check behind here.

Fnord, your mapper must be broken. Mine has the Queen of hearts coming on the river.

Good point fnord, good point eclipse. I didn't think of a ten + heart sticking around. If you somehow ended up in this pot, would you call with T + nonking heart?

Well, at least the river was a complete blank. That turn bet inflated the pot too much. Unless you have some kind of read that he's a one card flush chasing fish who bluffs big on missed draws, you're gonna have to check and fold here.

    My weak ass flop play:
Is it too terribly weak to check from the cut-off and wait till a safe turn card drops before putting any money into this 4-way pot with a bad flop? This will control the pot size with a very marginal holding due to flop texture. Too weak?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
