I'm a little confused on your hand history. Was that a minraise, or was it a raise OF 2, to 3? and villain calling an extra 2?
In either case. I think I would have re-raised villain on the turn in hand 1, after he check raised. (and also lead out more)
Hand 2: if this was just a raised pot, I wouldn't mind checking through the turn here sometimes for pot control. But given that this is a re-raised pot, I think I wanna get it all in here at some point, so definitely bet the turn.
