    Default Best turn play?

What does this bet on the turn mean? And what's the best bet? He's standard Ongame fool. Not a spewstation but just plain shitty.

I think it's a blocker bet with like a weaker ace or a (flush) draw..

Villains limp call preflop is about alwas SC or small PP.
Therefor I just call the turn and call the river, or bet/fold river if checked to me.

If he had a set and for some reason chose not to donk bet or c/r me on the flop, don't you think it would be more likely that he would c/r me on the turn rather than lead out?

most likely he's trying to control the size of the pot with A-x, or a flush draw that could've picked up outs like 86cc or 7cXc.

    for sure raise for value/protection.

I don't think raising is that obvious because it gives villain an easy choice while OOP. He instamucks any weak hand while when we call he has a hard time on the river.

On the other hand there's certainly merit in raising because of a draw or weaker 2pair.
(I just like raising this flop being villain with a draw because hero pretty much has to muck without an ace.)

In the end I think a raise is better as said for value and charging draws.

i think that lead means either it's time to pull out a Smirnoff Ice and get coolered or else scare away his flush draw by raising (I've been seeing the turn lead OOP w draws more and more... not sure why).
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I think A7 or A5 are definitely in his range here. Raaaaise this turn!

There's no question I'm definately raising this turn. If he stumbled upon a set of 7s (what's with people floating OOP with a bad PP lately anyway?) good for him. I really don't think that's a set of 5s (as well as A5) just by the way it's played. So I pretty much locked his range on A7, 77, or a draw, I was getting an 86cc vibe. I know there's plenty of other hands but I figured these heavily to be his primary range.

    FWIW I pushed, thoughts?

If you put his range on A7, 77 or a draw, then why are you pushing?

I agree, that is why I raise to about $65 here and get the rest in on a safe river.
