Bet sizing question

    Default Bet sizing question

Villain is running 22/19/3 with 3bet of 6% and a raise cbet of 14% over 500 hands.
We have a Tagg or slightly nitty image.

    $100NL
    100bb stacks
    Hero is dealt A 5
4 folds, Hero (SB) raises to $4, BB calls

    Flop: 2 4 K ($8)
Hero bets $6, BB raises $20, Hero raises to what?

Is your raise size here consistent across your whole range?
For example, do we change our sizing here if we have a set, AA, AK, or a bluff like AdJd?

clicking it back seems to induce more calls/raises than other 3bet sizing

So are you CiB here as a bluff ever?
How does position influence our decision here?

I'd make it about 43ish with most of my 3-betting range. I think with my more vulnerable hands i'd make it a tiny bit bigger but ppl aren't going to pick up on that generally. I'd definitely make it this size with my bluffs, because any bigger seems to be a big mistake.
    Family Cruise IMO

i like the CiB 3bet best with my drawing hands, as long as the stack sizes allow me a PSB to shove the turn. because i expect to get more action from the CiB i personally don't find it a good bluff move. i think it's true regardless of position.

with my nut hands i usually 3bet bigger if the board is drawy. as i play 50nl, i don't find it to be important to do this sort of balancing with my betsizing.

calling and calling down any non board-paring cards turn and river cards seems good to me, slightly better than clicking it back
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

and btw i d do that with my entire range for continuing unless there was relevant history between us

    I like a v.small raise.

I'd raise bigger with made hands but who cares right.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

Yeah I make it really small so that if he has an air component in his raising range it looks to him like he has FE.

I would just call here, not re-raise unless you are willing to call all-in with nothing but a draw. You have 12 outs; can't count the 3 aces because you might already be up against a set. If you just call, you might be able to avoid getting stacked when you miss. If your opponent truly has a set, he will pay off your flush anyway even when the flush card hits. You probably have 0 fold equity here and have to hit, and you are less than 50-50 to do so.

Well of course I am going to get all-in if I raise.
How would I have 0 FE here? So you are saying that no one ever bluff raises this flop? lol
