I think a valueable piece of info for deciding whether this is a good push would be to know A) The stack sizes of the already folded UTG and UTG+1 (are they medium-small stacks or in the top 3?) and B) the stacks of the blinds.
How long until the blinds increase again?
Folding may be a better option, depending on who is left to act after you.
Blinds had recently increased from 1000-2000. The small stack was next to act, a 15k stack was in the small blind with a +25k stack in the BB.
small stack calls my push with QTo, SB calls with QQ
QQ holds up and both of us get eliminated. The very next hand player nr 6 gets eliminated and we have our 5 winners.
I try not to be result oriented, but I now feel that my chances to reach top 5 would have been better allowing myself to blind out unless I hit a real hand.
No regrets though, I'll just have to make sure to qualify next Sunday!
