    High stakes thinking:

"ok he checks his overs, I will bet for protection and value. Last 4 times I had rags, now I have pretty good hand, whoops he pushes! I think he's sick of my turn slaps and tells me to fuck off. Maybe he has bigger overpair, but from recent history I figure, that he is the guy who likes pot control and avoids destacking with big pairs. He'd flat-call with big pair and maybe make bluff-stopping bet on river. With big hand he bets this turn 100% to build pot, protect and hoping a raise, because he's aware of my aggro image. So, it's most likely semibluff looking for FE or total re-bluff against my "obvious" float. My TT is good enough to warrant profitable call and it'll discourage other players to checkraise me in future."

    vs:

    NL$50 thinking:

"He checks. I have TT. I like it. It's pretty. I bet. He pushes. I still have TT. I call."

    Or NL$10/ NL$25 thinking

"He checks. I have a pair (do I? yeah, I think so...). I bet. "

    kookoo87 bets $0.25.
"How could I call that bet? How could you MAKE that bet? It's poker not solitaire. " - that Gus Bronson guy
