The second hand you made a serious mistake by continuing to bluff at the pot when he wasn't going anywhere. After your initial stab at the pot you should be check-folding unless you pick up a good draw. I seldom bluff without outs unless I know he'll fold for sure.

Another thing, you need to be more aggressive on the button. Raise any playable hand you get, especially if you get dealt an ace or a pair. At the end you got your money in with A9 and got unlucky, but I think you gave up too quick. I don't like to limp with J6o, with your stack it's push or fold (or consider pulling off a stop n go). One double up and you're right back in the thick of things.
