generally you want to call and re-evaluate against regs. sucks to be oop though.

some factors that are important: how strong is his preflop calling range, what is his overall aggression level, how have you seen him play sets/flush draws etc in the past.

one thing i would say you can somewhat generalize is that if people are bluffing/semi bluffing they usually barrel once/twice but not three times. so say you call flop, turn doesnt seem super scary, you call turn, and river he shoves it's generally less likely he's bluffing you - he probably knows you have a pretty strong hand in this spot.
