Default correct me if i am wrong, but...

    but...

the button SHOULD be your most profitable spot? UTG should be one of your least profitable spots.

mine are the EXACT opposite. my button is down $30, and my UTG is up $30. the earlier i get, the more profitable i get...WTF?!

granted this is through only 3000 hands of 6max, but is this a trend? and any ideas what the deal is, or how to fix it?
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

Could it be because you're playing pretty straight forward hands like AA and KK from UTG which usually bring profit but you haven't learned how to play button profitably yet?

Probably just a way too small sample size. If you continue to play your button aggressively it will be your biggest winner.

some people play 3000+ hands in a session... way too small of a size. this is assuming of course you're doing the right things

This could very well be the case, but it's much more likely that the sample size is way too small.
