Why is this such a crying call?
Aren't fish doing this with a jack high straight a lot of the time?

This seems pretty standard to me

If villain is at all fishy I call this pretty easily as a fish will be rasing a bare jack quite a bit here. I'm even inclined to say that pushing here is +ev vs fish but I tend to be reckless...

edit : JL beat me to it lol
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

if this is a crying call maybe you've been just running bad for way too long since, as you know, fish won't be thinking "hmmm. only better hands call my raise".

they think ZOMG STRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIGHT!!!! WOOT WOOT BIATCH"

This looks like a fish playing a flush. I fold without a better read.

This looks like a flush, but there is so much other stuff out there that I pay this off like a slot machine.

the fact that JT plays this identically forced me to call, i thought

    yup

ppl saying "this is how a fish plays a flush" are 100% right

problem with this board is there are 2 pair hands and str8 hands that fish will play the exact same way

    pay off then RE-LOAD

btw don't mean to hijack but I'm wondering who thinks pushing his raise would be +ev. If he's bad like you say he is then I'm not sure that it isn't a significantly profitable play.

Never read any stickies or announcements
am I the only one that hates putting half a stack in with a straight into what looks like an obvious flush in what started out as a 3 way limped pot?

i subscribe to the the rule of "bet until the fish raises" that i made up.

I felt like the turn and river were clear value bets in this hand, and that river raise was a pretty clear call.

also don't discount the possibility of a fish's UTG limp being a pocket pair - set. I've seen shit like this so often it makes my head spin :
