?? You nor I would bet this river with a Jack but if you put your villain on a strong hand and has been seen to make "good laydowns" before, a river bet in this spot with a lone jack isnt that bad. Especially if you will lay down QQ-AA or another AJ to a river bet here. I'm not saying he's likely to have AJ here but saying that a Jack never bets is incorrect.
Bluffing with a showdownable hand is a pretty sophisticated play, especially one as strong as TPTK, I don't think hardly any 1/2 players have that in their repoutoire. If villain was going to bluff, I'm sure he'd bet more 1/3 pot on the river. Looks just like he wants to get any money he can from us. If he really thinks he has to bluff the river then I don't see why he calls the turn in the first place unless he thinks his hand is good. Even if this is AJ occasionally, it's certainly not often enough to call.
see, your problem is you're actually using sound logical reasoning. Chances are villain has none
How often do you see the nut flush here push the river? I could see a call here if there was a read.
How much would you be willing to pay to see a showdown here?
