Dealing with unknowns

I tend to give unknowns credit until proven otherwise. This a leak, or standard?

I guess this means I would fold to his blind steals, and fold marginal hands to minimal aggression.

i go by the rule that he's a donk until proven otherwise

Yeah I presume he's a fish untill proven otherwise. If he was really good then he would be a regular and if he was a regular then I would already know him.
