    Default Easy or Hard lay down?? Need advice AJ TPTK

    Live NL cash texas holdem ($2/$5)

    I'm UTG (stack $550) with AsJs and raised to $15.
    Got 5 callers including the small blind (stack $800).

    Pot = $80

    Flop = 6s Jh 5h

    Small blind checks, I bet $60, everyone else folded except small blind who called.

    Pot= $200

    Turn= 9s

    Put me on a nut flush draw on top of top pair + top kicker

    Small blind bets $150. At this time, I had a strange feeling that the SB was trying to bluff me out. I really could not put her on J9.
    I thought about re-raising but I just called.

    River: 4d

    Now, SB goes all in. What has she got?? straight? two pairs?? but I had a strange feeling that she was on a big bluff. But at the same time, I could not jeopardise all of my stacks. I finally folded my hand and she showed one of her card which was a 4s.

    Do you think I should have re-raised her on the turn?? well, I think so..
    SB seemed like a tight aggressive player and I saw her going all in for couple of times when she got raised by the stack she had covered. And, it never went to the show down so I wouldn't know what she had.

    Well.. What do you think??

    If you can't trust yourself, don't play. Or if you do play, play online NL50.

    And you're right, you should definitely raise the turn with TPTK + flush draw especially if you feel she might not be strong.

    Well you obviously had her beat if she showed a four. This being said if you couldn't put her on qq KK AA you need to raise the turn. She is pushing hard here to get you out of the hand. Well she knows you aren't on a draw so why else would she try to get you out of the hand ??? because she is beat at the moment and she is semi bluffing thats why. If you don't think she is playing J9 QQ KK AA i just cant see any other line except a semi bluff being true. Actually who the hell knows what other people are thinking at 2/5 donks, fish, tags, nits, etc etc. Two points for you to ponder.

    1. You should not have been raising AJs under the gun

    i'm sorry I didn't feel saying it one time was sufficient. You should not have been raising AJs under the gun I don't even think AQs utg raise is any good.

    I won't say anything if you wont.

    To the OP:

    If you thought to yourself she was bluffing:

    1) why would you raise her off her non-existant hand (it has no value)?

    and

    2) why would you fold the river?

    It seems like this is what you wanted to happen. You only had like $325 behind in an $800+ pot and you have a decent hand. If you call the turn you have to call the river on any non-heart.
