Default Facing a river check raise all in

Villain is a donk, his stats are 37/2/0.4. But that's not entirely accurate, over the past few orbits he's been getting a little crazy. Nothing too insane, he loves to check / min-raise my c-bets. He also lead a bluff (i think it was a bluff) with mid-pair on a river for 2/3 pot.

I want to call this because his line makes no sense, but neither does his game. So he could easily think he's being tricky with a flush.

My image is aggro, but not out of line or anything.

Texas Hold'em $1-$2 NL (real money), hand #P4-57638908-554
Table Mopti, 5 Jan 2008 10:11 PM ET

Seat 1: pieceofsteak ($69.05 in chips)
    Seat 3: bacon_ip ($219.90 in chips)
    Seat 5: Galapogos [ 7,5 ] ($135.00 in chips)
    Seat 10: xToro1 ($127.00 in chips)

    Antes/Blinds
xToro1 posts blind ($0.50), pieceofsteak posts blind ($1).

    Pre-Flop
    bacon_ip calls $1, Galapogos bets $5, xToro1 calls $4.50, pieceofsteak folds, bacon_ip folds.

    Flop [board cards 9,6,3 ]
    xToro1 checks, Galapogos bets $8, xToro1 bets $16, Galapogos calls $8.

    Turn [board cards 9,6,3,T ]
    xToro1 checks, Galapogos checks.

    River [board cards 9,6,3,T,8 ]
xToro1 checks, Galapogos bets $28, xToro1 bets $106 and is all-in, Galapogos calls...?

I normally 3-bet the flop and be willing to get it in, but there's not a lot of FE with this guy. There was a hand where I opened with the nut flush draw, he did his min-raise, I pushed (he started that hand with 65bb) and he called with mid-pair and his only out was a BD straight draw. So I figured I would play the low varience route. Yes in retrospect a turn bet probably woulve been the way to go, but it would have tilted me so much to fold to another gay ass check/min-raise.

You shouldnt call when you are splitting at best.
I dont think you are going to see much else other than straights and flushes.

Oh and why would you bet turn? That'd be a bluff, and we dont bluff players that call b/3bet shoves with "mid-pair."

Flop bet wasn't too bad cause you had 8 outs and treated it like an open ended straight draw...although it was two inside straight draws. Personally I think you should have checked the river. There's too many hands that can beat you can and raising into that hand just leads to trouble. If he has a huge hand he'll come over the top...if he has no hand he folds to your $28 river bet. I would have check it down on the river.

Checking the river here seems really bad. This is so gross but you have the worst straight on a flush board, I think I'd have to let this go.

players like this almost never c/r here as a bluff

i think its a fold, and you have to bet the river no way you check here after hitting your straight.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

this is never a bluff and you have a crappy straight on a flush board, as others have said.......sucks but you should fold.
