    Default Faster? Harder?

I potted every street -- can I go harder? Is it feasible to pot and a half the turn? This is a great board for my hidden straight. River push, or valuebet? A push would be 2x flop, and we're both full stacked.

In an unraised pot, I dont mind pot-pot, on that river Im making a value bet that a raise will essentially have push all in over.

I dont like a push simply because its going to scare away a lot of hands and I dont see any reads posted so we dont know what he could have [we could guess] or what he would call with [again only guesses]. Just make a value bet here, I dont htink this is the spot for an overbet push and betting bigger than the pot on the earlier streets is going way too aggressive without reads.

i like the way you played this on all streets, anyone like a river c/r if the villain isnt uber passive? he played it like he is drawing...thoughts yo?

I think you could overpot the turn but overbetting the river is bad. Think of what he has. He doesn't have a set, he likely doesn't have 2p unless it's KJhh. Also very unlikely he has a K here, maybe he backed into a pair with Jxhh. So his hand we can conclude is likely very very weak and likely a busted draw with hearts or a lone 6 it sure isn't enough to get value out of a river push. As the above poster said, a river check is good and much better than an overbet.

over bet the flop. the rest is easier. the overbet on flop sometimes gets worse hands to call.

A lot of poeple at lower stakes will call a slight overbet when the pot is small so you could probably get away with it on the flop. I think you played it fine though.

i dont mind a push on the river either. if he hit 2pr he might just pay you off. otherwise he missed his draw.

I figure exactly like you, terry. If he's got enough of a hand at this point to call a valuebet (which is half his stack), he'll probably call an AI too -- if he doesnt, he missed his draw and I could bet $1 and he'd fold.

Seemed like a missed opportunity when he flipped over AA. Slowplay to win, right?
