Default First real 3 barrel i think

vil is 24/5.5/.5, 54 hands. I have a note that says he only folds to overcard boards. he floats a lot.
preflop raise is 3x because of the shorty in the bb.
I just couldn't put him on a hand strong enough to call a river bet. thoughts?

    Pre-flop: ($1.5, 5 players) Hero is BTN
2 folds, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2.5, 1 fold

    Flop: ($7, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, SB calls $5

    Turn: ($17, 2 players)

bad. he doesnt like to fold and theres not a lot of draws he can have. hes not folding an ace and he sounds like the type who calls down with kq here from what u describe.

with a player like that i give up on the turn, because i dont think they are capable of folding Ax, and thats probably the worst hand you could put him on after he calls your turn bet, seeing as the board is really dry. also hes super passive, so he could be slow playing monsters.

yeah, turn was a good spot to double. then he checks again on the river... bleh. Check behind on river is def the right move.

its not really. we have a lot of outs, but i doubt this guy folds here very much ever. i would rather check back, and pray for a heart.
