floated a reraised pot, coordinated flop...gross?

I feel like my thoughts behind making a play here were solid, but I executed it poorly. I appeared to be getting out of line, raising/reraising often and not showing down.

The button is very loose pre but seems tight in bigger pots. The reraiser is a decent tag who has cbet 12/13 times, and I had notes that he played back at me before when I seemed out of line - calling/reraising light, etc.

So I figured there's a high chance he's making a squeeze here, but wondering what a better way to play back would've been.
Some other options I was thinking about: 4-bet pre, raise the flop, bet the turn (I was hoping for a card higher than T in case he has like 99).
obviously I could just fold the flop, but given my reads...what do you think?

bump cuz this is a more and more common spot even at 100nl - calling a pf reraise in position with a marginal hand when I think the reraiser could be FoS..

so anybody think my line sucks here? I'm starting to think it's not bad...but just raising the flop, or 4betting pre would've been better.
The only benefit I see how I played is JJ and 99 might have a harder time calling if a higher card hits but it's not that big of a deal probably.

if he has anything decent you're getting called 100% of the time.

edit : that doesn't really help I suppose... So ask yourself what the chances are of him having anything decent? The bet is good if he's 3-betting a lot with low PP's. He could have AJ/KQ type hand as well. So you're getting called by AQ/KQ and hopefully folding out the low PP's.

ya...that makes sense. I didn't think this was the best way to play back after suspecting something's up with the reraise. 4betting, or raising/folding the flop all sound better now.
