Flop top pair and flush draw, turned two pair; villain leads

Villain is 30/12. He once limped QQ in MP and checked behind on a 554 flop and paid off a turned straight for a small pot. Gives me the impression he doesn't know what he's doing. What's the optimal turn action?

I often call this too prf, but I would like it even more if you had the button.
His line looks very fishy to me, could probably be AJ, AA or JJ, so I would just call and seek a cheap showdown unless you hit your flush on the river. I doubt that AK, AQ or AT checkcalls flop and leads turn, so thats why I just call.

Id like the call with 87s more so than A8s.

i think calling the turn is fine. QT will pay you off when you hit one of your outs on the river.

That's a healthy pot-sized bet on the turn - it looks a lot like he was slow-playing something or just hit a straight. I would call and look to stack him with the right river card.

I think it depends on his likely hand range, and his calling standards for a turn raise. If he's likely to be holding A-K or A-Q here after this betting, and will call a raise with them, just go all-in. Otherwise, I think calling and allowing him to overplay hands you beat is better, since a raise will either result in a fold, or a call or reraise from a better hand. I think your river play after calling the turn would depend on his bet size, and whether or not you fill up or hit your flush.
