    Default Fold or Float?

This guy wasn't on the table long enough to have read on but somebody reraising a cbet isn't uncommmon. I thought about folding to flop cr, but I wanted to see how he reacted on the turn. OOPS...did I do that? There are two diamonds on that flop, so if he has the King he should be leading out. I tend to do this often with a PP and it seems to be successful as even if I miss I can find an opportunity to steal or show down against Ax that misses. Is this just a standard play for most?

you have position and it's only a minraise CR. i don't think you should make that fold very often. you ahead here with the JJ often, saying nothing of the turn help that comes. i see tons of players trying to min checkraise the flop like that w/ an underpair (99, 1010) or a draw, even two overs.

also, don't assume that if he has a K he has to lead out. maybe that is what you would do, but you said you don't have a read on him, so you can't make that assumption. it's dangerous to get into the mindset where you're basing plays off assumptions made w/o confirmation. be aware of how you would play the hand, but also be aware of how he is actually playing his own hand, too.
In answer to your question... it depends...

I say well played. Check min-raising is the new beanie baby so punish those wimps.

I like the way you played it. I'm not too afraid of the check-min raise, although if he lead out big on the turn and the J didn't hit I would muck. There's no reason to believe he has the flush since it was runner runner, I figure he has a lower set or something. Results..?

Oh yeah, I'm easily folding to a turn bet if he stays strong and I don't hit a Jack. But if a diamond falls, I'm repping that most likely - especially if he bets 1/2 pot or less.

He had AK. Sorry for the mini-suckout buddy, but I had plenty of those against me before this hand.
