do not like the call preflop on the first hand because all you had was ace rag and you were facing a call from someone utg, though i guess the shortness of his stack justifies the call, im not trying to criticize you as much as i am also understand the right play while throwing in my 2 cents

Giving UTG raises too much respect in 6-max is generally a mistake. Yes, it's a speculative hand, but it's easy to get away from if I don't hit the flop hard.

Never read any stickies or announcements
the size of his stack makes it a fold, not a call, imo.

can you explain why, i mean i agreed that he should have folded pre fop, but i guess our outlook on the chip size is diff. again not criticizing more trying to learn. I would assume that becuase he was so low he would be in "push/fold" mode and any raise where hes not going all in despite being short stack would mean even less, i mean the guy has 1/2 of the stack of the next lowest guy, any feedback would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure Lukie is saying I don't have the implied odds to call...but our philosophies on playing against shortstacks differ, methinks.

could someone hook me up with twhat the implied odds on this hand would be, i mean obviously you need to pay 3.5 to win 7 for the immediate pot odds, and if he's raising here he's pretty much saying he's willing to gamble his stack so your paying 3.5 to basically win 25? which is about 7:1, so lukie thinks that with his ace rag he has less than a 7:1 chance of winning the hand with his a 2? or do i have implied odds completely wrong
