    Default Heads Up Analysis

This is the first SnG I've won. First because my HU play isn't the best part of my game.

If you could please critque my play here so I don't do the same things again because I'll be basing my play from this since from now on I won.

Only read I had on this guy, very very tight. He wouldn't even bet middle pair heads up (although that probably saved him from an early exit).

This last one was iffy to me. He was only pushing the goods earlier and I never called an AI of his HU. I'm guessing he lowered his standards a little, so if I was an underdog I wasn't by much.

First off, the blinds are quite big in relation to both of ur stacks. An all in or fold method of play would not be incorrect. Keep that in mind. You could conceivably be pushing EVERY ahnd you play in this heads up match. Raising pf and folding post flop coluld potentially lead you to losing bit chunks of ur stack.

Hand 2: Your PFR is way to big. 3xBB and then continuation bet it. Or Push/Fold. If your going to push/fold, this is probably a fold.

Hand 3: Same hadn as hand 2.

    Hand 4: Good fold

Hand 5: Fold preflop. Completing is weak. If i was him I would push over wiht pretty much any two.

    Hand 6: FREE CHIPS

Hand 7: Do it with any 2 probably?

Hand 8: I still fold the J7. Dont need to double him up right now.

Edit: Whoops. Put in the real Hand 3. Isn't much to look at anyway.

The BB is 800. So I did raise 3x BB unless I'm not seeing it right. I made sure to continue bet it since the pot pre-flop was so large. Was betting 1.6k okay or does that show too much weakness? I didn't wanna push or bet any more because if he actually did have something I'm done for.

Yeah normally I wouldn't complete blinds. Somtimes I'll do it and see if my opponent checks. If so, I may get to see some flops cheaply.

Hehe yeah actually with the info I had on him it's probably likely I should fold. Oh well. It won that one. I'll be more cautious next time around.

    Thanks for looking.

my bad I thought the BB was 400 =D.

the 1600 was a little small. If yuour stack was any deeper I wouldve makde it more like 2k. But this is why you should just push fold when ur heads up and the blinds are so big. If you lose this hand, or if he pushes over you after you mkae a continuation bet, yuou have just lost more htan 4k of your stack. That is bad. If you just push/fold you have less of a need to make decisions like continuation bets.
