    Default Heads Up Tourney.

    Game # 51992160: Texas Holdem No Limit (50/100) 05/29/2005 21:35:10
    Table "T860528-1" (Tournament Table) Seat 8 is the button

    Seat 2: £ucky (1705 tournament chips)
    Seat 8: flushdrawmike (1295 tournament chips) [button]
    flushdrawmike: posts small blind 50 tournament chips
    £ucky: posts big blind 100 tournament chips

    >>> HOLE CARDS <<<
    Dealt to £ucky [:Js: :Qc:]
    flushdrawmike: calls 50 tournament chips
    £ucky: raises 200 tournament chips to 300 tournament chips

    I wanted to get the upper edge, and not let him see this cheap
    flushdrawmike: calls 200 tournament chips

    I put him on low 88-JJ or high suited cards

    >>> FLOP <<< [ :Ac:]
    £ucky: bets 100 tournament chips

    I limp in to see if i can see where i stand.

    flushdrawmike: raises 300 tournament chips to 400 tournament chips

    Now he has a lot of his chips in the pot, i think he hasnt hit a set, i thought right now he has JJ

    £ucky: raises 1005 tournament chips to 1405 tournament chips and is all-in

    He thinks almost the whole 45 seconds and then...

    flushdrawmike: folds
    £ucky: uncalled bet (1005 tournament chips) returned
    £ucky: doesn't show hand
    £ucky: collects 1400 tournament chips from the pot

    >>> SUMMARY <<<

    Board: [9d 7h Ac]
    Seat 2: £ucky (big blind) won (1400 tournament chips)
    Seat 8: flushdrawmike (button) (small blind) folded on the flop

    Ballsy play, was it worth repping the ace or the flopped set?

    After the tourney i asked him what he had, and he said Queens.

    Standard fold.

    He could easily have AXs here aswell, on AXo for that matter. Heads up tourneys tend to have a lot of stupidly passive players on them.

    Ace high is a good hand heads-up.

    My point exactly.

    A good heads up player would be raising any ace preflop heads up (unless of course it's raised before them, in which case it 'depends').

    Most heads up players are stupidly passive and limp pretty much anything preflop (including AA!).
