Default Help with Heads Up SNG

    Hi

I'm quite new to heads up poker, so I have tried to find a book about heads up strategy but can't seem to find any. Can someone recommend a HU book worth reading?
Also where can I play very low stakes with only 10% rake? Am planning to start from the bottom and work myself up the ladder

Alright, maybe I should give stars a try, does anyone know of a room which takes lower than 10% rake on HU sng's? It would be nice if it was 1$ or 2$ with 5% rake or something like it.

    Hope someone can help

You don't care for Moshman's on HUSNGs? Interesting...

It sucked donkey dick. It wasn't a HU strategy book. It was a how-to on beating the different loose-passive, tight-passive, loose-aggressive fish at micro stakes HUSNGs. It's basically the same information as can be found in Krantz's pr1nny raiding season one on DC, except I don't recall any spots where Krantz recommended a correct or "not bad" play but gave a retarded justification for it, as Moshman did.

Moshman gives you some information for beating the 5s and 10s if you've literally never thought about how a loose player is exploitable because he calls too much so you should bet more, etc.

Only a complete beginner is going to learn from the book, unlike other books from which a low-level player with some experience can often still learn something.

The book was not great for a already winning player/good player, but it does have it place. Plus there is not alot of choice out there. Think the book is what op is after.

Full tilt recently made $1+.10 heads up sng's as well as $2+.15 sngs. They're pretty soft. There's a bunch of maniacs who play there but it's very simple to find out how they play. Just last night, this player would fold if he missed the flop when I raised. He'd call or minraise with any pair. Raise 1/2 pot with top pair, and bet pot with anything more. It was fun but in the beginning I kept saying huh? Good luck.
