Default Here's how I keep myself under control

I've always had a bit of a lag problem...It really helps me build huge stacks but if I ever get cold cards + a lot of calling stations, I often remain too aggressive and cost myself money. Since I've moved to party, this happens a lot. Its a leak I'm working on, but lately I've been opening up a couple of 25NL tables to go alone with the usual 100NL tables I play at. At the 25NL tables I can vent all that useless aggression.

I use either half or the full sized preflop raises I make at 100NL which at 25NL are like 8-16 bbs. The money doesnt mean anything at all to me at 25nl and it really is possible to be a super lag there. In fact, its pretty easy to leave the tables up 3 or 4 buyins which can add up to a nice cushioning. I've learned an interesting lesson first hand - being 100% fearless is a huge advantage. Plus now I've quit bluffing into Mr. McCalls every hand.

So if you have the same problem as me, try moving down 3 or 4 levels to vent. It might help save you some money too.
