    Default hey fellow PT geeks...

how many of you actually pay attention to the TABLEs numbers?

if so, what numbers do you watch?

i want to know if anyone knows a good threshold for the table going to showdown? i see 22-25% a lot, but sometimes come across 30+.

I use 30+ for vpip i don't look at went to %. I also look at the individuals at the table. I like to have at least two with stats in the neighborhood of 40+vpip/11pfr%. I guess went to % for the table wouldn't be a bad thing to consider adding.

I always watch it for the individual, WtSD that is, but i also am watching it for the table, too. i want to see if its a good or bad idea, in general, to cbet a table. if its over a certain threshold, i doubt i will cbet all but the driest of boards.

conversly, if its really low, i will cbet like a damned monkey.

kind of like the pfr numbers for a table. if they are low, i will open my raising range late, but will also start to limp some of my multiway marginals from mid/ep, too. why not, if i can see flops cheap vs passive donkeys that call down with 2nd and 3rd pair...against these guys i will limp with stackable hands all day!

I think this is a mistake. I use individual call cbet % on each player and I look to see who I am in the pot with. One calling station is going to affect the % for the whole table when everybody else could be really nitty postflop. Cbetting should be on a case by case basis in my book.

this seems like a good idea, but meeloche is right, one showdown muppet will throw off an entire table. Individuals call cbet % should tell you enough.

i can pick the nits from the call stations and will cbet/bluff accordingly. but, its the idiots in the middle i want to find.

i doubt anyone agrees, but each site has its own "personality." and, i want to find the generality before i start cbetting "loose" sites as my default play. however, at a tighter site, like stars/ftp, i WOULD cbet as a default...and look to 2barrel.

just what i've found lately. i will undoubtedly change my mind next week.

i dont think that really matters. you shouldnt be 2 barreling more because one site is tighter. each player is different. maybe it will work out that way but you shouldnt just play a certain way because the site is looser or tighter.
