Yea, it was AA and he called a 3 bet with it. This is just something I never see coming. It's funny that it even gets mentioned when he calls. I am trying to work hard at putting guys on hands and ranges, since it is a week spot in my game. When I here someone mention it I can't for the life of me figure out how. I get that if it is AA i reload and take the beat, but can you EVER put a guy on AA when they call a 3 bet pre?

Lots of times. But with this guy it doesn't matter. His calling range has way too many other hands in it for you to give AA any serious thought. You crush most other hands he plays here exactly the same.

Absolutely. If I have AA and am 3-bet pre-flop by anyone other than a known light 3-bettor, I will basically call, sit back and let my opponent aggress himself to a stacking.
