homosexually calling off my stack on every street?

villain is playing 24/19 over 150 hands or so. we have been playing approx 90 mins and I got the villain pegged as a serial 3-better light pre flop, espec on button, espec versus late raisers.

Yesterday i played an almost identical hand , in an identical situation versus a statistically similar opponent. he bets the low flop, i re-jammed all in, he insta called, and my 1010 was dry bummed by qq. Therefore, in trying to learn from my mistakes, i decided to take a more cautious line, that enables the villain to continue to bluff off with hands that im beating.

I felt that if i raise the flop, im commited and only hands that have me beat call, but did feel like my hand was likely good.

the turn, i made an error in hindsight as my hand is too vulnerable now to flat call?

the river, im probably calling any bet here, on any non club river card,as the pot is so inflated and i am getting great odds.

Unless he's mental I probs fold turn but this is out of my league.

Well, you're hand is pretty face up and he has zero FE on the river so he's not looking for you to fold. Probably fold the turn as played.

If he's a serial 3-better a small 4-bet might be a nice play to induce a push.

I really have no idea how to play these guys as I haven't encountered people like them yet in my weak-ass games. I'm pretty much just here to give HalvSame props on his awesome oneliner.

Either he 3bet pre with the intention of betting every street (which is doubtful) or he's valuetowning.

If he 3bets really light maybe this is a 4bet but I don't play vs. light 3bettors so IDK

seems like a good spot to take a stand with a 4bet pf.

Raise the flop, people tend to take a stand here with hands like AJ+ a lot anyways, i doubt he even folds 66. You rarely settle for call down mode.

how much, also do you really think he stacking off aj aq ak here if i do 4 bet? im not sure

ISF is advocating a flop raise, not a 4bet pf. I am interested to hear what people think the best raise size would be.

if you go that route, make it like $200 total so he thinks he has FE

so its raise the flop 200 or less, and call the all in if he shoves, because we are giving him the illusion he has f/e and trying to get him to shove 66 and every other hand we are beating?

if he got JJ plus then thats poker?

If he had JJ+ then he stacked you anyway so what difference does it make? What matters is what line induces him to bluff off his stack if he doesn't have you beat. You made the assumptions that he was likely to 3-barrel with a worse hand, but unlikely to 3-bet shove a worse hand on the flop. ISF is saying that your assumptions were probably incorrect. Also, we haven't even gotten into some of the other advantages that raising the flop has, for example it prevents him from turning an ace if he has one, and it balances your range which allows you to raise this flop to 200 with air in the future. So yeah I think that's probably the best line against most good LAGs who 3-bets a ton.

That being said, this hand obviously depends on how villain plays post-flop. If he's the type of guy to 3-barrel air, but never 3-bet-shove air, then just call him down I guess, and if he doesn't run big bluffs period then just call flop / fold turn.
