This is a tough situation. When he re-raises all-in you can choose to believe him, or not. His raise is roughly the size of the pot, so I'd probably believe him and fold. Top/bottom pair is not invincible.

This points out another peril of ace/weak kicker. Not only can you be outkicked, but if you both pair up your kicker you can lose a big pot over it. Doesn't happen that often but you tend to lose your shirt when it does.

Just a bad situation. With no reads, and given that its NL25 and people marry their top pair like theres no tomorrow, my money probably would have been in there.
