Why aren't more people talking about preflop? I mean don't get me wrong I'm not one of those 'OMG QQ have to RR' guys but I think if you're gonna do this than there has to be some rhyme or reason to it. There's half stacks behind who in my experience are not mental squeezers and there's a high likelihood that we end up 4 ways to the flop, because they are fish, which isn't a great result imo.
On the flop as played I think there's a good chance someone has a K so I don't really see why we're betting? I don't think the benefits of protecting from the turn card, even 4 ways, and the value we get from a J or whatever are greater than what we lose when we bet into a field where someone has a king.
