ya i was 90% sure my hand was good, but i guess it's not a big deal what to do the first time?

i think i like calling more than what i did, so he fires with more hands on the turn.
i ended up making a min-ish 3bet hoping he'd push or call with a weaker hand...and was worried he'd hit some random overcard or str8 on the turn.
results: he snap called and hit a str8 on the turn with 54s grr

considering his most likely flop raises include oesd's and gutshots minraise was a really bad idea.

I like getting it in here. There is a lot of turn cards that can kill your action or make you afraid to put money in the pot.
The secret to success in poker is to rig the odds in your favor.

I would fold the hand.. Chances are he has a big pocket pair on him, or got trips with any card on the table.

    Wanna play heads up?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

so what is a good 3 bet size?
I'm thinking $42, because a min raise to like $32 looks more like it wants action, so villain may just call draws for implied odds...but 42 seems like bad odds except maybe for an oesd, and might still look like a hand that folds to a push.

couple other thoughts i just had...
if villain is almost never pushing over a flop 3 bet, but will fire a wide range on the turn of hands i beat if i just call the flop, then i should just call the c/r.
if villain has a wide c/r range but gives up on it afterward without improving his hand to better than mine, then i should just go all in on the flop.
