HU SnG vs Tight/Weak thinking player

I've been the more aggro player. I lost a bit looking him up a couple times light on the river in spots where I induce bluffs from the usual aggro bunch. Won it back with aggression, then lost a smallish pot a couple hands ago to put us here.

He's been folding the flop a lot and I think he has a piece here almost always. Is this a spot to save chips or are we committed?

Preflop: Fnord is Button with 3, K.
Fnord raises to t150, BB calls t100.

Flop: (t300) J, 8, 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Fnord bets t200, BB calls t200.

Turn: (t700) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Fnord bets t650 (All-In)...

If he's very good I almost prefer checking behind and all in if he checks the river. I think really the only thing that does is extend your bluffing range but it would also extend your vbetting range (as I would for sure vbet a jack here if he checked).

If he's not very good I'd just put it all in and expect him to fold some 7's and 8's.

Slight preference on checking behind, but this seems fine. A shove shouldn't look that weak when it's < PSB.

Checking behind here is better. He looks up a shove here that he might not look up on the river

Bet check bet line IP gets looked up very light. I prefer Fnord's line. Villain will definitely fold 7's and 8's - why would he call with those hands? If you decide to check behind turn, river bet is good against some people, but generally you will get looked up.
