Everyone says how bad calling PF is by rationalizing "it gets you into trouble" but no one has taken the time to say why. I guess I will.

The PF call is poor because of how your hand stacks up versus his perceived raising range from Early Position (EP). If you have pokerstove it would be a good experiment to test your hand vs a range of 66+, AJ+. A lot of the hands in his range have you crushed before the flop. It truly does not matter how good you are post-flop when you are fighting such a strong equity disadvantage.
