Default I expected more out of Party's 1000 NL full ring game

I just dont understand this play by leadrunner, it makes NO sense whatsoever. I cant figure out if he was bluffing or if he honestly thought he was ahead. Anyhow, dont mind the profit I made from it lol

I just hope the play stays this bad, this reminds me of 25 NL lol

Isn't his hand a little weak to be making that play with? He didnt consider someone had a set or an overpair? Can you also explain what this 'squeeze' means?

For the inital better to call his check-raise he needs a set or a strong overpair since he not only contends with the check-raise but your call behind. Your call behind didn't represent an overpair so his only fear from you is a slowplaying set or two pair.

    His play is fine, imo.

So he was bluffing and only hoped he'd get called by a draw? Is that what he was up to? I'm not sure how my call behind messes up the initial bettor's calling his check-raise. I mean if the raiser figured I didnt have two pair or a set, I'm sure the initial bettor could have drawn the same conclusions and not worried about my call behind.

He was straight bluffing. He didn't want a call, but if he did. He had to assume he still had outs.

I was buying in short at the time because i was a bit underbankrolled for 1000 NL and I had just started playing it. I'm now up to fully stacked in 1000 NL full ring

    Playing 1000 NL short-rolled...

If I didn't know how bad of an idea this is, I would say that takes serious cajones.

Well when I say short-rolled I mean only having 20 buy-ins for the full amount (take a look at my sig). I feel comfortable with 25+. But thats more than enough for most people.

I still think it is funny that you play 20+2 sng's is funny.

    What was you're initial bankroll?

Maybe i should do an interview with you and post it on FTR lol.

Would you mind posting a couple hand histories of some sessions you have had at some high stakes games spinoli? We've all seen individual hands but I think an entire session of play would be a great help to the rest of us still trying to move up. If you don't want to give away your secrets to your style of play, well I understand and you don't have to, but I'd greatly appreciate it if you did. Thanks in advance.

Initial bankroll was 200$. At some point in the near future I will move from 20+2 SnG's to 200+15 SnG's fairly swiftly (I dont expect it take that long, maybe a week or two).

Sweet. A party poker session would be preferred if possible so the replayer could be used, but any sessions you have would be great. Thanks.

So Spicoli, how long have you been playing? I've only been playing for four or five months now. Pretty seriously though, as I have OCD. Anyways, I wanted to know because it sounds like your doing really well and I'd like to get to that same level of sucess someday. I'll share a begginer story (and I'd love to hear one from you too): I just went to Vegas for the second time (I'm 22) and played in the tiny but adequate poker room at the Riviera. I sat at the 200nl holdem table, bought in not for the max of 200 but for 5 bucks above the minimum of 40. Pretty crazy but that's all the money I had. I spent 4 or 5 or 6 hours practicing the reading skills I never get to use much, since I'm a mostly online player. It helped that the table stayed pretty consistant most of the night. Not saying it never changed, people would come and go, but the better players increased their stacks and stuck around for most of the night. I was quiet proud of my play, went to bed with 260 dollars.
