    Default i have a pair......ALL IN

im playing on all 10 of the tables running and this guy is only on 2 of them. thats the only info i have.

im was trying to push him off another ace. if he has AK i think he probably reraises preflop, and his turn gaybet makes me think he doesnt have AT, or 66.

    thoughts on turn/river?

probably a chop often but the times u get called obviously u get owned hard. Question is how often does he have a hand that beats u. Simple % question after that.

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
id have to pass on this one after just calling 20$ on the turn with several draws present when everyone knows id be very aggressive with any kind of good hand here
looks like a loser though you definitely arent paying for it very often-bottom line youre trying to convince him you have exactly Tx of spades when he's getting decent odds to call you down given only one holding makes sense.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

so you are saying sometimes he talks himself into a call with A9 ? thats fine with me!

So you risk 710 to steal half the pot that is 210 or something like that, it probably works fairly often, but dunno if it works often enough, I don't like it too much. Seems quite a bit like a bluff to me, still a hard one to call since it's a push.

gabe, what exactly are you trying to represent here? Are you just shoveling money into the pot hoping he folds a chop or possibly even a better hand? (not necessarily a bad thing, I'm just wondering. Your line doesn't make a whole lot of sense to be honest).

i don't really like it because your just calling the turnbet almost ensures that you are weak, thereby greatly increasing his range to call.

THERES NOTHING WRONG IF HE THINKS IM BLUFFING MORE THEN USUAL

HAVE YOU READ ANYTHING IN THE THREAD

Villain needs exactly AA, KK, AK, 66 or Tx to win here and I don't think we can put him on any of those hands given the action. So it comes down to does villain think gabe is FOS often enough to call for what is most likely a split? If he does then we haven't really lost anything, so this play is goot imo.

He has you beat sometimes. Its rare, but its definitely possible. So its basically a question of how much he folds. It doesn't need to be much, because all you need to do is make up the money that is lost those few times that you are beat and he obviously calls. What i am saying is, because of the weakness you showed on the turn, I think he almost never folds here.

OK, just so I understand, here are the cases:

    1) He has no ace, folds, EV = 0 (since you would win the same by calling)
    2) He has an ace, calls, EV = 0 (split either way)
    3) He has AK/66/TX calls, EV = -710
    4) He has an ace, FOLDS, EV = +240

For this to work, he has to fold an ace 3 times as often as he's ahead of you.
I assume he never calls without an Ace.

Also, I feel that $20 turn bet carries very little information. It's just as likely to be a misclick as anything. You are going to feel dumb if this is an idiotic slowplay (an attempt to get aggro gabe to raise???)

The silly turn really messes up the reads. Clearly, it decreases the chance he has you - but it also indicates the same as you, decreasing the chance he folds an ace.

i agree with this. i don't think he folds an 3 times as much as often as he has you beat.

a bit unlucky to lose to T8, tho, isn't it?
