Default I like to ship it, ship it!

Villain is 19/10 over small sample size ~40 hands. No notes and he's been very quiet. He has not limped yet UTG or MP to my knowledge.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (Button) ($155.65)
    SB ($155.20)
    BB ($100)
    UTG ($79.85)
    MP ($100)
    CO ($100)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, Q
UTG calls $1, 2 folds, Hero raises $4, 2 folds, UTG calls $3

    Flop: ($9.50) 7, 4, 10 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $8, UTG calls $8

    Turn: ($25.50) 3 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $16, UTG raises $39, Hero calls $23

    River: ($103.50) 2 (2 players)
UTG bets $28.85 (All-In), as hero starts timing down villain says "I missed", Hero Folds.

    I all-you-can-eat the turn

Also, I bet like $20-23 on the turn

This thread should be re-titled to "I like to build it big and fold it"

Any comments on the table talk?

    Thissss.

With so little left after his turn raise, just make him pay for his draws while they haven't gotten there yet.

This to me from a 19/10 (albeit over 40) smells of a set. Have you been cbetting a lot? A check/raise on the turn on this drawy of a board is pretty powerful. I can see 5s6s/44/77 showing up here quite a bit.

I think him talking is crying for a call.

Bet more on the turn. I felt this because I'm a fish who will stack off with an over-pair every time (shit, I usually can't beat middle pair), but if I didn't then I would fold the turn.

Don't use tells to make really silly folds.

You lose 100% of the pots you fold out of.
He claimed he had pair+FD & put me on AK, but I still think he had a set. Limp/call UTG reaks of a small PP.
That said, you all are right, 80BB deep I should be pushing over the turn every time.
As for the turn bet size, I am trying to keep this standard w/ my 2 barrels and other turn bets. Should I not worry about balancing my turn bets vs. this villain yet?

I fold the turn every time against this guy. And if you don't want to fold, please don't do what you did. And like Fnord said, your standard turn bet size is really bad.

I thought 2/3rd PSB was pretty standard on the turn for a semi-drawy board. It cheapens my 2 barrels, it makes b/f easier, and it keeps 2nd best hands in better.
Please enlighten me as to a better bet sizing.

put me in this same camp. my standard turn bet is almost always in the 2/3-3/4 range.

On a dry board it's usually fine, but this board is super wet, his hand could have a lot of equity, charge him for it. You shouldn't have a standard bet size for the turn that never changes. Put your opponent on a range vs the board and bet accordingly what you think he will call.

Ok, here's my opinion and I could be wrong...
Usually in those limits, when a tight player limps/calls UTG pre-flop, I would probably put him on a small pocket pair between 22-77. With that being said, the bet on the flop was good. But when he just smooth called OOP on a board like that, I would be a little concerned as I may think he flopped a set. I don't think he would have small connectors and be on a draw. So to manage the pot, I think a check on the turn would be better and deciding if you should call whatever barrel he fires on river. But maybe the check on the turn is not +EV against him? I dont know.
