I get what your saying but this has happened to me a few times. Last time was at 25NL. He made QQQ on the flop and checked and I made 333 on the turn and lost a double stack!
yeah well thats real unlucky. the odds of them having a pocket pair is low, multiply that by the odds of them hitting a set on the turn, and it comes out to roughly 0%.
I rarely check any sets made on the flop but I did on this one for some reason. Probably had to do with making another set of aces on my other table at the same time and I lost focus. It just pisses me off that I knew he had a flush for sure and I decide to be a hero and look him up.
