I checked on the turn because I felt he would he had a mid-high pocket pair. He would have raised me on the flop with KK or QQ, so that left JJ and TT. TT was only willing to pay a little bit more, and JJ had me railed. His mistake was checking behind the turn, which gave me a free card and allowed me to stack him on the river. He argues he would have gotten all my money if that ace hadnt shown, I begged to differ, pointing to a small pot on the river caused by him checking behind on the turn.
