if he folds to 3bets much more often, might be better to just flat. generally when im thinking about flatting w/ a big pair preflop, the reason usually has something to do with the 1st raiser being particularly nitty, and basically folding to my 3bet just sososo often. or we are in positions like, opener is UTG and im BB... that's a spot i don't want to be 3betting, it just looks too strong. if he is just too nitty, would 3bet him as a bluff w/ any 2 suited, any 2 semi connected, and i'd flat my big ones to try to extract more value.

it also depends on how many times you've 3bet this player in the recent past, if he is getting fed up with you, you are 3betting this in order to get it in, if he has no reason to be fed up with you, it's more of a reason to consider flatting since you should expect to get respect on your 3bet.
