raiser is a 42/11 over 40 hands, I was trying to play it tricky, perhaps hit a set etc as I almost had a feeling utg would limp-CR.

in any case, as played, I absolutely have to bet this flop don't I? Once UTG raises even min I think I'm crushed by his range. I'm sure your responses will be just raise in position, or raise once $30 is in there and hope to take it down pre.
