    Default A-K0 200NL ~140BB Deep

Villain is 27/22 over 200 hands, but hasn't been 3betting much. Usually i would 4bet here, but we are a little deeper than usual.

If you just call, what is your plan for the turn/river?

    Hero: ($328.80 in chips)
    Villain: ($284.25 in chips)
    4 other players

    *** HOLE CARDS ***
    Dealt to Hero: [Ks Ah]
    1 fold
    Donkey: calls $2
    Hero: raises $8 to $10
    1 fold
    Villain: raises $28 to $38
    1 fold
    Donkey: folds
    Hero: calls $28
    *** FLOP *** [Kc 8s Kh]
    Villain: bets $52
    Hero: ?

I think I try and play the flop the same way as I might play a hand like 99-JJ, ie: I would probably flat call the flop.

I don't mind seeing any turn card except for a Q really, so I'd probably raise any turn except that card, and value bet the river if called on turn.

I would call here and bet the turn when he checks. If you do this he really has no idea where you're at and might just shove in with a pp.

slowplay, bcoz you could do it with TT-QQ

This really comes down to how i think he will play J-J/Q-Q. I am almost always stacking A-A/K-x no matter how i play the hand, so those hands aren't really worth factoring into my decision making.

I know i would fold J-J/Q-Q close to 100% to further aggression after my c-bet got called, given the board texture. I also know i would fold to a raise of any size on the flop close to 100% without notes/history.

So, given the stack depth, his low 3betting frequency, (and likely an adrenaline rush) i decided to push all in. I was pretty much hoping he would get suspicious and sometimes call with Q-Q.

Despite my analysis i think that you guys are right that just calling the flop is best, because villain may not want to let go of J-J/Q-Q on the turn - even though i might.

i personally shove this close to 100% of the time but that is an extension of a generally aggressive approach to 3-bet pots

if you re not a spew monkey like me in 3 bet pots then I agree that slowplaying is great since it looks like a mid pair and you might get him to fire a 2nd barrel with air or take him to value town on the river after he checks two streets.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Sorry if I misread this, but I don't like slowplay. If you're saying check behind on the turn also, if he hits the river with TT-QQ, he is probably doubling up with an open shove. I like call, and push the turn almost all the time.

I know what you mean about slowplaying in general unibomber, but seeing as our opponent has at best 2 outs to improve, slowplaying isn't as likely to get us into trouble here. And it has the potential to win us another bet later in the hand if we don't push our opponent out.

Call and represent 99-QQ. Bet the turn if checked to.

this is actually an important concept- ur only two lines that have any merit here are calling or raising to 115ish- against pretty much all opponents.
